Prayer and Worship
Prayer and worship are foundational values in Seashore Church. Before we began, the Holy Spirit gave this directive:
“Guard the place of worship. Protect the place of prayer.”
More of Heaven
Our greatest prayer is “God, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven” (Matthew 6:10). We long to see more of Heaven. We want to see Heaven invade earth with the glory and Presence of God. We believe we will see God revive and reform the nations!
God’s People Gather
God gave us the instruction to gather for worship, prayer, teaching and instruction in the word, to break bread and eat together, as well as to enjoy each other’s company. Gathering is essential for the believer. It is for our mutual encouragement and maturity. It allows for the training and equipping of every believer to do all the work of the ministry of Jesus… because God wants His house full! Jesus promised that when two or more gather in His name, He will make Himself clearly known in our midst, He longs to be with us and make Himself known. And this is for the purpose of extending His Kingdom into the earth. (Matt 11:12, 18:20; Lu 14:23; Eph 4:11-13; Heb 10:25)
Our Heavenly Mandate
Make Disciples
Jesus commanded us to “Go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19). We answer this by loving people like He did and leading them into a redemptive relationship with God. Discipleship is an internal process done by the work of the Holy Spirit in us rather than an external church program to complete. We make disciples by teaching people to follow the greatest two commandments, “Love the Lord your God … and love your neighbor …” (Luke 10:27), and by “teaching them to obey everything” Jesus commanded us (Matthew 28:20).
Disciple Nations
Jesus commanded us to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Discipling nations is a Heavenly mandate. God is bringing more than revival; He is reforming the nations. Our role is to shine God’s light into all areas of life: the home, workplace, education, science, media, and government. Psalm 2 prophetically states, “Ask of Me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, and the ends of the earth as your possession” (Psalm 2:8). It is our job to bring Jesus His inheritance and then, together at the end, we will declare, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15)
Plant Churches
The seashore is a place where people are received from and sent out to foreign lands. Like the seashore, the local church is God’s plan to gather and save the lost (Ps 68:6). The local church is to train, equip, and send disciples to reach other wandering lost with the love of Jesus. We want to plant 1,000 churches by training and releasing people into their gifts and calling to all corners of the globe to establish God’s Kingdom (Eph 4:11-13).
